Starting at Central Station, walk down the Singel and turn right onto Herengracht. Already hungry? Take a left onto Spuistraat instead and enjoy a classic Italian sandwich from Caldi e freddi or a waffle or cookie from Melly's Cookie Bar.

Back on the Herengracht, cross the canal and turn into the Herenstraat, the first of many quaint shopping streets of the Jordan neighborhood.

Here stands House of Feliz: our shop filled with boho fashion, irresistible shoes, handmade hats, leather bags and jewelry and accessories to remember your Amsterdam adventure by. At House of Feliz, you'll find fashion brands such as:

  • MKT
  • Indi&Cold
  • Sophie Schnoor
  • M.A.B.E.

Right across from House of Feliz, you'll find Le Bordel, serving the most delicious tiramisu and other Italian delicacies you'll find in the city (we are NOT exaggerating). Also on Herenstraat: Gimme Glitter curated vintage, Tessa Koops, Attire Amsterdam and Gort goldsmithy.

Exit the Herenstraat and turn left, following the Keizersgracht canal until you arrive at the famous Nine Little Streets (Negen Straatjes), a shopping area consisting of, you guessed it, nine small streets. These well-loved streets are bursting with small restaurants, coffee bars and bakeries, little jewelry shops and boutiques, as well as more well-known chain stores such as Dr. Martens, Cos and OBEY. Just walk around and you'll see there's truly something for everyone in this area.

Our favorites in the Negen Straatjes, however, include:

  • The Darling, Runstraat 4
  • Zipper, Huidenstraat 7
  • Nubikk Store, Keizersgracht 233
  • The Ordinary, Runstraat 10

From here, it is a short walk to Vondelpark. Get a coffee and a pastry and take a leisurely stroll. For vintage shopping, we recommend Haarlemmerdijk - turn back and walk the Westerstraat for the scenic route. Or navigate yourself to the heart of the city center, and visit the Spui, where bookstores such as Athenaeum await.

In Conclusion

We hope you enjoy lovely Amsterdam and that our shopping tips were helpful to you and you have the best time discovering this beautiful historic city. And while you're at it - please keep it clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone. And don't forget to visit us at House of Feliz! We wish you an amazing, safe and memorable trip.
